As a Business Developer at Betanet, your mission is to stimulate business growth through the identification and penetration of new markets, as well as the development of new partnerships and sales opportunities. We’re seeking someone with a visionary mindset and a knack for uncovering unexplored avenues of business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
  • Meet with customers/clients face to face or via digital platforms to understand their needs and foster strong relationships.
  • Devise and execute a successful business development strategy in line with the company’s sales and profitability goals.
  • Prepare and deliver pitches, presentations, and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Provide insights into current industry trends and customer needs to shape the company’s strategic initiatives.
  • Nurture existing client relationships and ensure an increase in customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (including Marketing, Product Development, and Operations) to improve business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to build networks and stay abreast of market trends.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA would be a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Business Developer or a similar role in the tech industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of diverse business processes and strategy development.
  • Understanding of the skills needed to close deals and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Strong research and strategic analysis capabilities.
  • Skilled at negotiations and presentations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • Familiarity with relevant software (e.g., CRM software) and technological tools.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for innovation.
