SEO Specialist

The SEO Specialist’s role is to coordinate and implement SEO & SMO strategies for Betanet and its clients. The correct person will be goal-oriented, possess exceptional attention to detail, and have outstanding interpersonal skills. This is a role that is interacting with clients as well as working closely with the company team to make sure that the goals of the client are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute successful SEO strategies that align with our business goals.
Conduct keyword research to guide content teams and optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy.
Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g., link-building).
Work towards organic search optimization and ROI maximization.
Regularly perform thorough website audits to identify and rectify technical issues and increase search engine visibility.
Track and analyze critical SEO metrics (e.g., conversion rate, bounce rate, etc.) and report on performance.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., developers, marketing strategists, content creators) to optimize website design, content, and user experience.
Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends and industry updates.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or related fields.
Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, SEM Manager, or similar role.
Deep knowledge of ranking factors, search engine algorithms, and SEO best practices.
Experience with SEO reporting and analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc.).
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and their impacts on SEO.
Strong analytical skills and experience with performance optimization.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to think strategically and tactically to make informed decisions.
Continuous learner with a passion for digital marketing and staying current with industry trends.
